Interpreting Services

Interpreting is a service provided by an interpreter who renders the spoken or signed message of the speaker into another spoken or signed language of the listener. There are a few types of interpreting.

Interpreting Services

We provide the following interpreting services:

  • Simultaneous interpreting:
Conferences and other events that attract participants who speak a different language from the speaker or speakers require a consistent message communicated to all. Real-time, ongoing interpreting responds to this need and ensures that attendees get the most out of the event from key takeaways to the smallest details. From their sound-proof booths, interpreters use an audio system to transmit content directly into the ears of the audience.
  • Consecutive interpreting:
A consecutive interpreter takes advantage of pauses between parts of a speech to translate content into a language listeners will understand. Because this type of interpreting is more time consuming, it is typically used for smaller meetings and those that require dialogue between participants (e.g. negotiations, press conferences, etc.).
  • Whispered interpreting:
Offers the immediacy of simultaneous interpreting but puts the interpreter next to the listener, so that he or she can communicate the message discretely and directly into the listener’s ear.
